Those unfortunate souls living in snow-less climates just won’t understand. When you wake up on a Sunday morning with the trees covered in snow, it’s just one of those days that makes you feel glad you live in a real four-season climate.

  1. Doug…beautiful snow. Boston is a special place…love it.

But…I will argue that the “four-season” myth is overblown.

Living in San Diego I can experience all four season within driving range. Not only that, I don’t have to shovel snow, heat my house, or worry about black ice.

Every climate has advantages and disadvantages and snow in early December isn’t snow in February.

I would like a white Christmas – oh – every five years or so. Luckily, I can have it by choice with local mountains just 45 minutes away.

    Happy Holidays!

  2. I’ll admit it’s pretty to look at (nice video!), but I sure don’t miss driving in it :) We got a taste of December snow down here in Austin last week. It blew around for 20 minutes, I got my video (http://vimeo.com/7986514), and then it was gone–hopefully for the year! No snow to shovel, or scrape off the windshield.

But to each his own, of course, Doug. Enjoy the winter!

  3. Scott: 3 Words for you. San. Diego. Padres. ;)

Becky: I love San Francisco, but indeed you are missing a proper winter

Bryan: Shoveling snow and scraping ice builds character. Glad you TX wimps at least got a little taste of a real winter. Plus– no more comments that I did another car video?
