I need to be more diligent about writing down my ideas "as they happen". Not to brag, but I've solved some pretty major problems while jogging around the neighborhood, sitting in the school pick-up line, and waiting for my daughter's cheerleading team to perform their halftime routine (yes, that's a l-o-n-g time to be waiting). The only thing is this: I've forgotten to write them down.

More times than not, I tweet about the initial idea for a blog post. My rationale is that later (when I have a moment) I can sit down and write from the 140 character starter thought.

As you can see from my blog, I'm writing blog posts less and less and microsharing on twitter more and more. So I have lots of starter thoughts just begging for a moment of time to become actual blog posts.

Why did "I'm Just A Bill" from School House Rock pop just into my head? ;->
