People talk often of the need to stop and take a break. I just came off a week-long vacation, and I don’t feel all that refreshed, to be honest; I feel the pressure of all the things that need to happen in the next few weeks.

To me, what is more accurate is that taking a break is less about stopping or recharging, but about being able to let go. Learning that the world won’t stop if you take some time off. Me? I have a great team that takes care of execution and details.

On a micro level, the world won’t stop if you delete that inbox or those unread RSS items, either. Does that make sense to you? What’s your take on this?
